ITT “E. Fermi” in Francavilla Fontana visits the Rhodes Town Hall. The “Rodiaki” article

The ITT “E. Fermi” in Francavilla Fontana carried out an Erasmus+ KA122 project in Rhodes with our Greek agency, Aristos. During the mobility, the school’s students had the opportunity to visit the Municipality of Rhodes, and “Rodiaki,” the most important local newspaper, wanted to dedicate an article to the event and the Italian students.

Below is the translation of the original article:

The “Enrico Fermi” Technical and Technological Institute (ITT) from the city of Francavilla Fontana in Italy visited the Municipality of Rhodes. The school was in Rhodes from June 23 to July 10, as part of the European Erasmus+ KA122 project “Sustainability and Innovation: New professions of the future – a concrete example in Rhodes.”

The 28 Italian students and their 4 accompanying teachers received a warm welcome in the Town Hall from the President of the City Council, Kyriakos Kasapis, the Deputy Mayor for Communication, Georgios Pattas, and the City Councilor for the Environment, Green Spaces, and Urban Development, Ioannis Mitsou, who was accompanied by the Director of the Department of Environment and Green Spaces, Spyros Geravelis.

The theme of the educational mobility was renewable energy, the ecological transition, and sustainable development. The managing body of the project was Aristos, part of the ETN group, based in Rhodes, and the group was accompanied by Vasiliki Karagkouni, Stratos Diakatos Arvanitis, and the mobility collaborators, Margarita Tsoullou and Vangelis Marougkas.
