“Reintegrate Wellbeing”: Progress in Porto for Workplace Wellbeing

In the beautiful setting of Porto, on November 7th and 8th, 2023, the second Transnational Meeting of the “Reintegrate Wellbeing” project, supported by the program Erasmus+  KA220-ADU – Cooperation partnerships in adult education of the European Union, took place. This project is committed to supporting workers affected by burnout, facilitating their reintegration into the job market while simultaneously encouraging employers to create healthier work environments (more information at www.reintegratewellbeing.eu).

The meeting was a crucial opportunity to outline concrete actions and strategies for the future. The partners discussed the development of the “360 Curriculum“, a training program aimed at equipping both employees and employers with tools and knowledge to address and prevent burnout. Particular attention was given to the creation of practical manuals, which will serve as a guide for workers in their fight against burnout and for employers in promoting a healthy work environment.

Furthermore, significant updates on the progress made in the project were shared, with a discussion focused on overcoming psychological challenges and the social stigma associated with burnout. The collaboration among partners from six different countries highlighted the importance of an international and multidisciplinary approach to effectively tackle this issue.

The Porto meeting also provided an opportunity to plan future activities and share best practices among the various partners, strengthening the collaboration network that is fundamental to the success of Reintegrate Wellbeing. This exchange of ideas and experiences has allowed for the identification of new ways to implement the project and spread it to a wider audience. Indeed, the meeting saw the participation of Right Challenge, VAEV Research and Development Agency, AXONFORCE, Impact Hub, PFE, The Square Dot Team, and BERLINK ETN GmbH: these partners, coming from different parts of Europe, have shown a strong commitment to creating a healthier and more productive work environment.
