A New Phase for the StarWomen Project: Training Platform

We have completed the trainer-focused platform for the StarWomen ERASMUS+ project (2023-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000161080), designed to enhance the skills of trainers using innovative, non-formal methodologies. This platform, developed through collaborative efforts, offers trainers essential tools to incorporate methodologies like edugames, improvisational theater and storytelling into their teaching practices. It serves as a comprehensive “toolkit”, accessible online and free of charge, to foster creativity and effectiveness in adult education.

Building on this success, we are now moving into the next phase: creating a specialized platform aimed at empowering unemployed women, particularly those over 40, by providing them with essential soft and power skills for today’s job market.

Like the trainer platform, this new section will offer a range of non-formal educational tools, including methodologies learned during the Learning Week for trainers. These tools will be adapted to help adult women boost their self-esteem, gain confidence, and develop employability skills. From building leadership abilities through improvisational theater to enhancing creativity via storytelling, this platform will provide empowering and practical resources.

The goal is to offer more than just soft skills training – it’s about helping women gain the confidence and motivation to re-enter the workforce. The platform will feature video tutorials created by the trainers from the earlier phase, guiding women through skills development, goal setting, and career planning. This platform will be an invaluable resource for women seeking to return to the job market, offering a personalized, accessible, and empowering pathway to employment.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to develop this exciting platform to make a real difference in the lives of unemployed women across Europe!
