Training – Experience – Welfare: the three key elements of any Erasmus Plus projects

After few weeks from the approval of the new 2021-2027 call of Erasmus Plus Programme, an important deadline is getting closer: on the 11th of May is the last day for the application proposals of KA1 individual mobility in the field of training and education.

This new Erasmus Plus Programme aims to strengthen principles such as social inclusion, environment sustainability and the digital transition within the European Union and this will be possible by developing adequate knowledge, abilities and skills, thanks to a training period in another European Country where you can study, train and work.

In order to achieve these goals, what are the main elements that any Erasmus Plus project should have? We will sum up in 3 words: Training – Experience –Welfare

So, what does it mean? Let’s have a closer look

  • Training:

One of the key aspects of every Erasmus Plus project is training, thanks to the possibility of getting internship in companies abroad, so called work placement and it is essential to guarantee the right work experience for an adequate training. Ensuring the right work placement does not mean that any work experience in eligible for all students, rather it is necessary to analyse the students’ CVs and then to make sure that the company where the internship will take place, meets the student’s needs, taking into account students’ language level, skills and ambitions. Moreover, it is essential to monitor the work experience, therefore firstly students will be trained before the start period of the internship and they will be followed step by step in the initial activities, by checking their tasks, timetable and all other aspects related to the experience.

  • Experience:

The Erasmus Plus is indeed an unforgettable experience that give a new glance on the world and more often it is the very first experience abroad for young people. Therefore, spending some time abroad in a new city, in a new Country really gives back a wealth of experience and new challenges to face. And lots of things to discover!

It is necessary to speak a second language that you may have learnt at school, or to try your hand at learning a new one, or to live with people of different background and culture, to visit iconic places but also unknown ones.

It is, therefore, fundamental to be burnt with curiosity, to have an open mind, because Erasmus is not only a professional experience but also a personal one.

It is amazing being welcomed in a new city, living fun activities and finding answers related to the needs in a new reality.

  • Welfare:

Other key elements in new experiences abroad are also organising and logistic aspects, related to room and board, local public transport, cultural activities and etc…

Therefore, it is possible to find a trustworthy organisation that takes care of students’ well-being and safety while reassuring families and teachers concerns.

Thinking about the students, surrounded by a constantly changing world while they are growing up in it, changing fast: they need to be supported, guided and reassured.

The quality of each Erasmus Plus Project is really important, because every student deserves a fantastic experience.
