Bulgarian school “Atanas Tsonev Burov” awarded for its Erasmus+ project on energy efficiency

Our partner, the Vocational School of Industrial Technologies “Atanas Tsonev Burov”, located in Ruse, Bulgaria, has been awarded a Quality Prize during a special ceremony organized by the Center for Human Resource Development. The award recognized the success of their Erasmus Plus project titled “Energy efficiency – investing in the future and equal access to inclusive education” (Project No. 2022-1-BG01-KA122-VET-000074460).

As part of the project, 7 teachers visited Rimini, Italy, in May 2023, while 18 students and 3 accompanying teachers traveled to Malaga, Spain, in June 2023. During the annual Valorization Conference, organized by the Center for Human Resource Development under the Erasmus+ program, Deputy Minister of Education Natalia Miteva presented the award to Director Eng. Ventsislav Vasilev.

This prize acknowledges teachers who, with creativity and dedication, implement successful projects that unite students and educators from various European countries to achieve common goals.

The school achieved an impressive evaluation score of 92 out of 100 points. The project’s contributions in the fields of renewable energy, photovoltaic and solar systems, energy efficiency, gas supply and gasification, along with its professional recognition and quantitative and qualitative goals, were highly praised.

For the current academic year, the school will continue its Erasmus+ activities with new projects for teachers in Cork, Ireland, and students in Berlin, Germany. This marks their third Erasmus+ project.

ETN, proud of this partnership, congratulates the school for this significant achievement. See you soon!
