Discovering Malaga

When you think of Spain, you can think of Indurain, the bullfighters, paella, Ibiza, the magnificent Rambla of Barcelona, the elegant austerity of Madrid, the Spanish musicality (oh no, adding an “s” at the end of each word is not enough to declare yourself a connoisseur of the Garcia Lorca language), the sea and the fun. And the sun? How did you forget it? After all, in the Iberian Peninsula there is the famous Costa del Sol, a name, your tan. And its capital, Malaga, is a place that is really worth visiting.

Here we will tell you why:

300 days of sunshine a year. Yes, it’s correct! 300, as the Zack Snyder’s movie. So if you feel like, you can learn how to say “umbrella” in Spanish but once you have done it, forget it: you won’t need this word at all. ☺

The Film Festival. Now at the 19th edition, it’s the most important film event in Spain. If you are in Malaga during the festival, wear a tuxedo and go hunting for VIPs. You might meet Antonio Banderas and let your friends. Green. Or make your girlfriend feel regretful.

A second is forever “Alice: How long is forever? – White Rabbit: Sometimes, just a second. ”

Well, in Malaga you can experience that “forever”, thanks to the tube clocks: they are British and mark the striking of a new minute every 59 seconds instead of 60.

A day at the museum. Are you looking forward to get rid of your eternal teenager addicted to picaresque life image – after all you are 42 years? Malaga is the place for you! Its 30 museums throughout the city center make it one of the Spanish cities with the highest density of museums and the ideal place for you to get a new image.. Glass Museum, Contemporary Art Center, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Centre Pompidou, Picasso Museum … learn the skills and save them for the rainy days.

The Botanical Garden. If you like walking and you have a green thumb, you’re in the right place. Flowers, exotic plants, trees and around the world in 80 trees. Phileas Fogg, it’s just you and me now!

Picasso. The Spanish genius was born in Malaga and the city celebrates him with a museum. Need we say more?

So what are you waiting for? VAMOS !! And we are suret that, like in the Fred Bongusto’s song, your heart will remain in Malaga forever.
